Sullivan's Creek to Katherine Gorge - Day 82, 29/06/2016

I got up before sunrise and flicked around the lures again, still no luck but I'll keep trying to get my first Barra...

Anna had booked a powered site for us at the Katherine Gorge campground so we knew we had a spot to camp in tonight and didn't really have to rush. After breakfast we were on the road and heading into Katherine, we arrived just before lunch and restocked our supplies and completed our voting obligations at the pre polling booth before driving the short distance to Katherine Gorge.

Once checked in we found a site and setup, we had hoped to do a half day canoe up the gorges tomorrow morning but all the canoes were booked in the morning. We booked canoes for tomorrow afternoon and decided to drive back into Katherine to buy some grog as the bottle shops weren't open earlier in the day. When we were in town we bumped into some friends of ours from back home. It was great catching up with Vanessa and Paul over a couple of Macca's ice creams, we look forward to catching up with you once we are back to exchange travel stories. We drove back to camp and the kids had a swim in the pool before dinner and showers then it was off to bed for an early night.

Distance Traveled = 236 km
Total distance traveled with camper = 32,361, km
Total number of nights in the camper = 213
