Home Valley Station - Day 67, 14/06/2016

We decided to go for a short drive back up the Gibb River Road to have a look at Bindoola Falls, unfortunately the falls weren't flowing but there was a nice plunge pool at the base of the cliffs that we climbed down to and had a swim. The kids enjoyed watching the many Archer and Cat fish that called the pool home.

On the way back to Home Valley Station we stopped at the Cockburn Ranges lookout so we could access the net and make some phone calls. We booked into the Kimberleyland Caravan park in Kununurra and organised for the trailer to be repaired at Metaland. After lunch we chilled out around camp and had a swim in the pool to cool off as the days are still very hot.

Tonight is our last day at Home Valley and I am very glad to be moving on, if I had to use one word to describe Home Valley Station it would be disappointing. The powered camping area we were in is poorly organised and results in everyone camping right on top of each other to access power, the toilet and showers are very average and the staff are not very friendly or overly interested in providing any form of customer service. If we were to ever return we would camp down on the Pentecost River and mostly likely only stay one night.

Distance Traveled = 42 km
Total distance traveled with camper = 30,813, km
Total number of nights in the camper = 198
