Our eldest daughter Erin qualified for the Glass House Districts swimming carnival and  this allowed us to get away on Friday afternoon after school. It didn't take long for us to travel north to Cobb and Co 9 Mile camp grounds and after another warm friendly greeting by Katherine we found our spot and set up for the weekend. A little later in the afternoon we were joined by family friends John and Jan and Anna's parents Greg and Lenore and we all settled in around the fire for dinner and drinks. After dinner Mad Nick the bushranger held up our camp and made Erin do some pushups as we didn't have any loot for him. On Friday night a slow moving storm passed over and we were woken in the middle of the night by very heavy rain which is when I remembered that I had left the canopy on the ute open… Our usual camping buddies Bron, Steve and Alana arrived mid-morning on Saturday and were soon set up and relaxing with the rest of us. Cobb and Co is one of our favourite location

We were going to be joined by some of our friends on this trip but the forecast of occasional showers scared them all off… Once we arrived we discovered an almost empty  camp ground with only 2 other camp sites being used. After setting up in some very light drizzle we settled in with some morning tea. This was a very lazy trip for us and most of the time we chill
