El Questro Station to Bungle Bungle NP - Day 72, 19/06/2016

We had a very quick pack up this morning and we left camp just before 7.30, we filled up the water tanks at the station campground and then made our way to Emma Gorge. By the time we arrived at Emma Gorge the day was already quite warm and the car park was almost full, the walk into the gorge and swimming hole was very beautiful and it wasn't long before we arrived at the swimming hole.

The water here was quite cold as this part of the gorge doesn't get much sun light but we managed to find a thermal stream that runs into the pool on the right hand side and it was nice to relax in the warm water. Once we had enough we got out of the water to find the banks of the swimming hole packed with bus loads of oldies who were in the process of trampling on our gear... After a few words to the offenders and the tour operators we moved onto find a quieter spot in the sun to dry off, I am shocked at how often this occurs and how inconsiderate some of these more mature travelers are.

We left Emma Gorge just before lunch and made our way south to the Bungle Bungle National Park, the road in was rough and corrugated as we expected and we eventually arrived at the campground right on sun set. We setup in record time and I was really impressed at the girls got on with their jobs. We had an early night tonight as we have a full morning of walking to do tomorrow.

Distance Traveled = 310 km
Total distance traveled with camper = 31,395, km
Total number of nights in the camper = 203
