Keep River NP to Zebra Rock Mine - Day 79, 26/06/2016

We took our time packing up today as we didn't have very far at all to travel today to the Zebra Rock Mine just off the Duncan Road. I have lost count of how many times we have had this place recommended to us so we couldn't drive past without checking it out.

Camping is cheap at $10 per adult and kids are free, the facilities are basic but clean. Up at reception they have complimentary tea, coffee, cool water and cordial and a great communal seating area that is shaded and is a nice spot to catch up with the other travelers.

We selected our campsite and setup and then the kids went up to reception to receive their "gift"which was an unpolished piece of zebra rock. The girls then spent the rest of the afternoon sanding back their zebra rock which kept them amused while Anna and I chilled out had some coffee and tea and sampled the very delicious scones, cream and jam. Once he sun went down the communal fire is lit and we had a very nice evening swamping travelling stories with the other travelers who were heading in the opposite direction.

Distance Traveled = 52 km
Total distance traveled with camper = 31,884, km
Total number of nights in the camper = 210
