Normanton to Karumba - Day 127, 13/08/2016
This morning we took our time packing up and then made our way to the Normanton Railway Station to have a look around, unfortunately the 3 hour trip on the Gulflander was fully booked so we had to make do with looking around the displays and reading the information in the museum. Our destination for the next few nights is Karumba 70 odd kilometers north of Normanton which didn't take long to drive.
We are staying at the Karumba Point Tourist Park which is a fantastic caravan park, I'm not normally a fan of caravan parks but the staff here are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are modern and clean and the kids love it as we are camped near the pool and they have spent a huge chunk of the arvo in the water. Tonight the caravan park puts on a free fish BBQ, you need to supply your own sides, drinks, plates and cutlery and we are really looking forward to it considering my track record of not supplying our own fresh fish....
Distance Traveled = 72 km
