Noah's Beach - Day 140, 26/08/2016
This morning was another cracker start to the day with hardly any wind compared to the previous days, so after breakfast we decided to go for another walk on Noah's Beach. The tide was quiet low and we were able to walk around the headland on the northern part of the beach and found a beautiful little cove that you can only access easily on low tide. After our walk we jumped in the car and traveled south to Cow Bay and had another stroll along the beach, on the way back to the car the kids found a swing that was strung up in a palm tree and had a great time.
After a quick morning tea of scones made in the Ecopot we drove a little further south to the Daintree Discovery Centre and spent a good 2 hours walking around soaking up all the information. Its a self guided tour but you have access to audio players that provide you with the relevant information along the way, very informative and the kids had a fabulous time.
From here we moved onto the Jindalba boardwalk which was a nice easy stroll through beautiful rainforest. The kids had been really good and hadn't whinged once about the long walks so we stopped in at the Daintree Ice Cream Company and rewarded everyone with some ice cream. Whilst we where there Anna spotted heaps of butterflies and was off with the camera in hand. Once back at camp we had another stroll on the beach this time to the southern end to see where Noah's River meets the sea, we didn't take the camera and by this time the sky had really darkened so we returned to camp for a shower, dinner and then bed.
Distance Traveled = 59 km
