Calvert River to Hells Gate - Day 121, 07/08/2016
We woke to a cool and very dewy morning and had to wait until almost 10am before the camper roof was dry. The road conditions improved a little and we didn’t take too long to cross over the border back into QLD. We were happy to be back in our home state but our last border crossing for this trip meant that we didn't have too much longer left on the trip which we aren't too happy about...
We arrived at Hells Gate Roadhouse just after lunch and grabbed a feed from the roadhouse after we had set up camp. Camping here was $22 per night for an unpowered site and the it was nice to see some green grass. The facilities were basic but clean and it was great to have a proper shower again, later in the afternoon we had a couple of beers in the bar and chatted to a few of the other travelers. On the way back to camp the girls befriended 3 girls of a similar age and had a great time playing together and climbing tree's.
Distance Traveled = 134 km
