Simpson Desert - Day 5, Noccundra to Haddon Corner 21/06/2017

We were on the road by 9am today as we had a fair way to go and a good proportion of it was on dirt. We followed the Adventure way from Noccundra towards Innamincka but turned north at the Dig Tree turn off towards Haddon Corner via Arrabury.

The road south of Arrabury was pretty ordinary with some fairly rough sections but north of Arrabury the road improve dramatically and we made good time arriving at Haddon Corner just after 3.30pm. As soon as we got out of the car we were swarmed by our old mates the bush fly and we were soon searching for our fly nets. Up until now we had a good run with very few flies lets just hope the next few weeks don't require constant wearing of fly nets. After signing the guest book we drove over a few small dune and found a flat spot to set up camp and wait for dark when the pesky flies piss off.

Distance Travelled - 397km.

Fly nets are such a good look...
