St George to Eulo - Day 2, 10/09/2016

Overnight we had some rain and the wind picked up but nothing too serious and we woke to a beautiful morning on the river. There were threatening clouds to the west so we decided to ask up after breakfast and get going. Today we were heading to Eulo and a free camp on the Paroo River. We arrived at Bollon around morning tea time and it was a great looking little town so we stopped to stretch the legs and have a bite to eat. Bollon has a great play ground right next to the information centre which the kids really enjoyed using.

Back on the road we continued west to Cunnamulla, the country was definitely starting to change and the road kill numbers were steadily increasing. It wasn't long and we arrived at Cunnamulla, filled up with diesel and found the Cunnamulla Fella for a few photos and some lunch. After lunch we drove the 70 odd kilometres to Eulo where we found the free camp and set up, it wasn't as nice as our first camp and we had to share with 2 other groups (imagine that...). It was a hot day and to cool the kids off we took them down to the river and they had their first swim of the trip. Another first for the trip was the need for our fly nets, the little buggers were really annoying and we had to wait until dark before we ate dinner.

Distance Traveled = 349km
Total distance traveled with camper = 21,630km
Total number of nights in the camper = 145
