Glass House to St George - Day 1, 09/04/2016.

All of our planning had finally paid off and this morning we departed on our 6 month trip. After a few last minutes jobs we said our goodbyes and headed west to St George. We had an uneventful run to Yarraman where we stopped for morning tea and play in the play ground for the kids. From here we continued onto Dalby where we topped up with diesel and continued onto Moonie for our planned lunch stop. Unfortunately we blinked and we were on the other side of Moonie on our way to St George.

We were all starving and decided to use the next road side stop as a place for a lunch, there was a lack of stops so we decided to use  a side road and some shade under a few trees. Back on the road and it wasn't long until we arrived at St George where we made our way to Riversands Winery. Anna and I sampled their "F&^%king Good Port" at the Birdsville Races and wanted a few bottles for the trip.  Unfortunately they had sold out but they were kind enough to allow us to camp on the property down on the Balonne River. We had an awesome spot over looking the river and the best part was we had it all to our selves.

Distance Traveled = 496km
Total distance traveled with camper = 21,281km
Total number of nights in the camper = 144
