Middle Lagoon - Day 50, 28/05/2016

We had a lazy start to the day and decided to had over to the Whalesong Café for a coffee and a look around, my brother had recommended it. Unfortunately they were closed and didn't open until June the 4th, the manager was happy for us to look around the grounds and check out the facilities. Middle Lagoon is often described as rustic and a little more relaxed and Whaelsong was even more so. The camp ground is small and is set on top of some cliffs and there is only one Eco toilet and an outdoor shower. The scenery is very beautiful and if you were fully self sufficent and happy to get away from the crowds Whalesong might be worth a look.

We returned to camp and spent the afternoon swimming and snorkeling whilst we waited for Bryce and Alex to arrive. The kids were very excited and they eventually arrived just before dark, set up camp and joined us for a very tasty roast lamb dinner and drinks.

Distance Traveled = 10 km
