Broome to Middle Lagoon - Day 48, 26/05/2016

We said our goodbyes to Bryce and Alex before they left for work (suckers) but we would see them again on Saturday when they come up to spend a night with us at Middle Lagoon. We left Broome mid morning after filling up with diesel ($1.25 per liter) and buying our National Parks Pass, it wasn't long before we were airing down and back on the dirt heading north to Middle Lagoon.

On the way we stopped in at Beagle Bay to check out the church and had some lunch. We then continued onto Middle Lagoon where we had to deal with a mix up with our bookings but eventually got it sorted and moved onto our camp spot on the "Ridge"over looking the water.

After setting up we headed down to the water and spent the afternoon chilling out and soaking up the sun, later in the afternoon we noticed a camper that caught our eye on the Finke River a few weeks ago. It turns out it was Peter and Kerry and we did camp next to them in a free stop on the Finke River, they were joined by their friends Brad and Jane. We had a quick chat and committed to catching up properly over the next few days.

Distance Traveled = 185 km
Total distance traveled with camper = 29,105, km
Total number of nights in the camper = 179
