Middle Lagoon - Day 49, 27/05/2016

It was great to be back in th camper out in the bush or this case the beach, we all had a great nights sleep and woke to a beautiful cloudless day. We spent the morning swimming and snorkeling down on the beach. Erin and I were lucky enough to see a Sleeper Shark who was sitting on the bottom of the sea floor. We also saw plenty of fish and I'm a little annoyed that I didn't bother getting our video camera ready for this swim, I will definitely do so tomorrow.

After lunch we decided to drive north to One Arm Point and Kooljaman resort to have a look around. In true Guthrie Family Adventure style we didn't bother checking out opening and closing times and by the time we arrived at the office in One Arm Point we discovered that the Trochus Hatchery had closed for the day... Tomorrow being Saturday meant the hatchery was closed too and we would miss out on seeing it this trip as Bryce and Alex were coming up to spend Saturday and Sunday with us.

We back tracked a little to Kooljaman Resort and paid our day entry fee then checked out the campground, safari tents and the eastern and western beaches. We stayed until sunset on the western beach and then drove home in the dark. It was another amazing day and we are all really enjoying our Kimberley experience so far.
