Overland Australia

This was a quick overnight get away back to one of our favourite spots in SE QLD. We were joined by our close friends Bron and Steve and Paul and Sharna and their families. As this was just a quick trip we all left home fairly early on Saturday morning and we were set up by 9.30am so we could enjoy as much time as possible here. The weather was fantastic with nice warm sunny days and cool nights, the kids had a ball playing outside, exploring the creek and riding their bikes. We packed up after lunch and were soon home to unpack and get ready for another week of work… Trip distance = 178km Total distance travelled with camper = 7182km Total number of nights in the camper =55

For this trip we were going to Cobb and Co 9 Mile Camping grounds just south of Gympie. This trip we were joined by 3 other families – 7 adults and 7 kids. We finished work early on the Friday and afternoon and arrived at the camp ground around 4pm and met 2 of the families that had arrived in earlier that day. Our 4 th family arrived mid morning on Saturday. It was a warm weekend and everyone had a great time enjoying all the activities on offer, this is a great place to bring the kids as there is plenty for them to see and do.
